Excellent and productive meeting chaps!

Confirm that CA's open days are Sunday 9th, Sunday 23rd June

BTW - I'm furiously typing up all the stuff for the game launch - don't worry, no one can see it! We need to hit the road running on this one so I am pre-preparing - open for discussion/amends of course but I'm making a start.

OK, I'll just finalise the date with Chris and post up in the organisers section to save the date.

All looks fine to me chaps. Good recce for 2 events AND a good basic gameplan formulated. A good result in my eyes.

Edit - David, can you try to avoid the word "evade" if possible, as it's a can of worms best not opened!

Have I used the word evade anywhere? Feel free to edit!

I can't think of any more to add to the section at this point - please have a scan and discuss any assumptions or inaccuracies I've made.

Oh, and I just stuck a price of £45 in - is this OK?

I'll have a proper read tomorrow (off to bed in a bit - work tomorrow). Price is ok and represents good value for money.

Edit - Just noticed that cock hanschen klein reading the Grafton section! :ghey:

All looks good to me. I corrected some speelign errors and added a line about German sleeping arrangements.

There are covered areas and small buildings that could be utilised as sleeping facilities.

Some people totally freak out at the idea of having to sleep without a tent!

Heh, as I wrote Jedburgh I thought it looked wrong and forgot to go back and check it. :slap:

Chris is looking into the dates for us and will get back to us as soon as he can.

He also writes:

We are going over this weekend to open up access to the massive Battle HQ building on the left of the entrance track. We plan to use it for CQB-type games. I just wish we could get into the underground bunkers too.

Massive battle HQ building!?!? :-? :?:

Bloody hell, there is as well!

Zoom in - it is on the first tack on the left, above the ploughed field.

I'm looking into doing escape maps on 'handkerchiefs' (prisoners were found with them on shirt tails too!). I'll do a sketchy map of the site with ports/city directions around the perimeter. Might be more fun to say to a mate "lets head for Liverpool" than "bearing NNE"! I'll also be able to do the Home Guard armbands as well for those that don't have Brit uniforms to change into when caught.

We'll need to put compasses on the kit lists for both escapees and hunters.

re: Evo's tent - I could liaise if you like, here has been here before to pick something up.

Ooh, yes please about the tent.

Pete and I are buying it between us, but we did speak about making it a CiA asset down the line.

Not sure what the delay is. I don't want to push them.

I'll chase Chris now.

Huzzah!

I'll shove up the booking thread - might as well open it now but I don't expect we will be trampled in the rush.

Nice to see activity on there already. Can we have a locked section for German escapees please? I'd like to talk about weapons and stuff somewhere privately, without clogging up the main section and, to keep the Brit's in the dark as they would have been for real.
